Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirti within me.
Cast me not away from Your presence and take not Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit. Psalm 51:10-12
Be Merciful and gracious to me, O God, be merciful and gracious to me, for my soul takes refuge and finds shelter and confidence in You; yes, in the shadow of Your wings will I take refruge and be confident until calamities and destructive storms are passed. Psalm 57:1
Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer
From the end of the earth will I cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed and fainting: lead me to the rock that is higher than I [yes, a rock that is too high for me].
For You have been a shelter and a refuge for me, a strong tower against the adversary.
I will dwell in Your tabenacle forever; let me find refuge and trust in the shelter of Your wings Selah Psalm 61:1-4
For God alone my soul waits in silence; from Him comes my salvation.
He only is my Rock and my Salvation, my Defense and my Fortress, I shall not be greatly moved. Psalm 62:1-2
O God, You know my folly and blundering; my sins and my guilt are not hidden from You.
Let not those who wait and hope and look for You, O Lord of hosts, be put to shame through me; let not those who seek and inquire for and require You [as their vital necessity] be brought to confusion and dishonor….Psalm 69:5-6
Look upon me, be merciful unto me, and show me favor as is Your way to those who love Your name.
Establish my steps and direct them by [means of] Your word; let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Deliver me from the oppression of man; so will I keep Your precepts [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them].
Make Your face shine [with pleasure] upon Your servant, and teach me Your statues. Psalm 119:132-135
