Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer
From the end of the earth will I cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed and fainting: lead me to the rock that is higher than I [yes, a rock that is too high for me].
For You have been a shelter and a refuge for me, a strong tower against the adversary.
I will dwell in Your tabenacle forever; let me find refuge and trust in the shelter of Your wings Selah Psalm 61:1-4

For God alone my soul waits in silence; from Him comes my salvation.

O God, You know my folly and blundering; my sins and my guilt are not hidden from You.

Look upon me, be merciful unto me, and show me favor as is Your way to those who love Your name.

Father in you do I put my trust. Thank you Lord for allowing me not only to see a new day but a new year. Thank you Lord for loving me that much. Thank you Lord for you many blessings and for being my shelter in times of trouble. Thank you for leading and guiding me and for never leaving my side. Thank you for standing true to your word and for looking beyond my faults and meeting my every need.

Lord I ask that you open the eyes of your children in this new year. I ask that an even greater desire for you be set on the hearts and minds of every individual. I ask that those who don’t know you as their savior be more than aquainted with you in this year. Lord I ask that you wrap your arms around those in morning, depression and failing health.

Lord only you can change us into the the individuals you’d like us to be. Let our hearts and minds be open and willing to allow you to do a work in us that only you can do. Fill us with your spirit Lord and let the peace your love provides spill over onto all we come in contact with.

Teach us how to be godly role models not only for our children but to every individual we come in contact with. Let your light so shine in us that all the praise and glory be for you, about you, and because of you. Open the eyes of those who don’t realize you are there loving father and in every situation you are the one in which the can turn to.

Father I ask for healing of the drug and alchol addicted, those who are calling out to you for help and those who are lost and feel as if they have no one or where to turn. Open their eyes to you Lord. Fill them with you, help them realize that all things are possible with you and in you trust can be placed. In you doors can be opened and shut. In you change can occur and former sins washed away. In you and because of your sacrifice on the cross just like entering into a New Year one can enter into a new life, a better life and find blessed peace and understanding. Let them know they have a father who will walk with them no matter how bad the situation seems and to you be the glory.

In you Lord do I put my trust. Because of you and the sacrifice you made for me on the cross I know eternal life and victory is mine. Thank you Lord for loving me beyond the deepest of imagination. Thank you Lord for the undeserving gift you’ve graciously provided for and give me. Thank you Lord for being our example and role model. Thank you Lord for the air I breathe, food I eat, clothes I wear, steps I take, and a reasonable portion of health, strength and mental clarity. You Father are so amazing and awesome that words can’t fully express my gratitude for the love you easily provide.

Teach me how to be the person you’d like me to be. Open my eyes to the era of my ways and give me the wisdom to change any portion of me that is not pleasing to you. Let the love of Christ so shine in me that others are drawn to you.

Father let us not just live a life of compassion and giving because of the season but let us live it every day of our lives as you do. Wrap your loving arms around those who are lonely and have no one to spend the holidays with. Put the perfect labors in there path. Lord be the awesome comforter you are to those who are reminded in sorrow of love ones who have left this earth and also be the mender of broken relationships. Thank you Father for all you’ve done and for the things you continue to do in the life of your beloved children. Father I just can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done for me. In Jesus name I pray….Amen

All praises be to You my God, and my Father. Thank you for the life you have given me. Thank you for loving me and thank you for being my strength in times of weakness, and companion in times of loneliness. Thank you for being ever true to your word and for the comfort and peace your word provides.

Help me to be the individual you’d have me to be. Teach me how to live my life in a manner that is pleasing to you. Fill me with all wisdom and knowledge that comes from you. Perfect me in your sight. My life father is in your hands, make and mold me as you will.

Father wrap your loving arms around sick and shut-in. Provide them with the comfort, encouragement, healing, and strength they need to make it through each day. Lord open the ears and eyes of those who don’t know you. Bring them unto your salvation. Lord wrap your loving arms around the children of this world. Be that small still voice that leads and guides them through out the day. Father put a desire for you in their heart and in the hearts and minds of those in charge of them. Help us to be the godly parents you’d have us to be. Help us to set positive examples and be the role model you’d like us to be. Father I know that all it takes from you is a touch, a whisper, a feeling and or a thought. Lord I know that it’s your desire that none perish. It’s your desire that we love one another. It’s your desire for us to live a life holy and acceptable to you. Teach us how to do this father. Teach us how to live our daily lives obedient to you and your word.

Father I thank you for this day. I thank you for the gift of life. I thank you for my health, strength and ability to use my limbs. Lord I thank you for salvation. I thank you for love and I thank you for forgiveness.

Father I ask that you wrap your arms around your children leading and guiding in the direction you’d have us to go. Open our heart, and minds to the fullness and richness of you. Teach us how to be as you are. Bring to light the things in us that need to change and give us the wisdom and desire to change. Help us to live our lives in a manner that is pleasing to you.

Father I know you are aware of the negatives and violence in this world. You said it would be so. You said for some the love of you would grow cold, you said mothers would be against daughters and fathers against son. The events in our times are not strange to you but father you also said that if we humbled ourselves and looked to you you would heal the land. Father I am looking to you. The only help I know. The only one who can heal, provide, protect and correct. Father I am looking to you to heal the land. I am looking to you to reverse the curse of the devil. I am looking for you to draw your children near. For we are all yours you created us, know us and love us. You father ask that we seek your face and pray. Put the desire on the hearts of your children to be obedient to your word. Father I thank you in advance for all your about to change and do.

Father I come to you once again asking that you wrap your loving arms around the children of this world. For those who don’t know you Lord I ask that you open their hearts and eyes to you. Father many are being raised in an enviroment where knowledge of you or the understanding of your sacrifice of love is unknown. I ask that you go into the homes touch the parents or caregivers of these children and bring them to your salvation. Let your loving presence be felt in these homes.

Teach us how to be positive role models not only for the children of the world that don’t know you but to all we come in contact with.

Father you said if you be lifted up you’d draw all men to you. Show us how to live our lives in a manner where you and your word is constantly being lifted up. I know you are a keeper of your word and one who has never made a promise you haven’t kept. You Lord will do as you have stated.

Father I thank you for life. I thank you for the loving me enough to bear my pain, sorrow, and sins. Father I thank you for putting this prayer on my heart. Lord many are looking for things or others to make them happy and/or provide in ways only you can. I lift you up Jesus knowing you are well able to provide in every situation and circumstance.

I ask that your will be done.

Good morning Father. Thank you for allowing me to sleep in peace last night and for waking me this morning. Thank you for the protection you’ve provided thus far. Thank you Lord for being the loving Father you are.

Lord the state of our children weighs heavy on my heart. It saddens me to see the negative path so many have taken. Father help us to be the nurturing, loving, and trustworthy adults you’d have us to be. Show us area’s within us that are not pleasing to you and areas that have hindered a child’s growth in you. Open our eyes to the ways in which we faltered and forgive us for not being the responsible individuals you’d have us to be. Let our hearts be open to those in need, and lead us on the path you’d have us to go. Give us the ability to wrap loving arms around all children and especially those in need and let it be your light in us they see.

Father there are many children who are lost open there eyes to you. Father there are many who are looking for love in wrong and unfruitful places, open there eyes to you. Let us not judge but lead in righteousness. Show us the part we’ve played that has cause a child to be lead down the wrong path, and show us the part we must play to teach them about you.

James 1:2-4 (New International Version)
2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Often time’s trials and despair can hinder our sight. Leading one to believe there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. Experience has taught me that with God there is always ‘light’ and through that tunnel may have been dark, dreary, and lonely for the true believer there’s always a lesson and/or progression in us through him. There was a time in my life when that was hard for me to understand. I thought being a Christian exonerated me from the sheer pain and heartache I’ve had to endure. As he open his word to me I not only learned trials must come but in every situation and circumstance he his truly there to provide the way out. That way out doesn’t always come when we want or expect it, but he always provides. During the difficult times in my life his expression of sheer love for me had never been so powerful. In times when all I had was his word in my heart wrapped with the belief and faith in him to provide and walk me through I realized that was all I needed.

When things in your life seem to be out of control and you don’t know where to turn, turn to the father.

Lord I thank you for being a constant in my life. I thank you for the ability to rest last night and rise this morning. I thank you for the roof over my head and clothes you so graciously provided. I thank you for every meal I was able to eat and water I was able to drink. I thank you for leading and guiding me even when I’ve fail to acknowledge your presence. I thank you for loving me in times of error and fault. I thank you for forgiving me and the compassion you continue to have for me. Lord I thank you for the hand of protection you continue to provide for me and my family.
Father I thank you for the doors you’ve open and the ones you have closed.
I thank you for having a purpose and plan for my life.

Father I thank you for leading me through the rough and unpleasant events that have occurred in my life. I thank you for opening up your word to me a word that is true and full of the wisdom, knowledge, and the love you have for your children.

You father are awesome and words of thanks will never be enough to truly express the joy you have placed in my heart.

Let all I do be to glorify you. Let the words of my mouth and meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight for father you are my strength and redeemer.

Thank you Lord for being the awesome father you are. Thanky you for being the one I am able to put my hope and trust in. Because of you Lord and your sacrifice on the cross I know with out a shawdow of a doubt I am loved. Thank you father for the love you have for me. Thank you for your constant forgiveness and for the compassion you have for me. Thank you father for never giving up on me and for the ability to be able to turn to for for guidance in every situation.

Lord open our eyes to areas within us that are not pleasing to you. Fill our hearts with a strong desire to please you in all we do. Teach us how to be as humble as you are. Teach us how to be as loving as you are and let us never stop seeking you and your face.

Wrap your loving arms around those in need of your touch. Be a comforter to those in need of comfort and a companion to the lonely. Be strength to the weak in heart, body and mind. Bring joy to those who have none and be a healer for the sick. Open the hearts and eyes of those who don’t know you putting a desire for you in there hearts. Let your desires rein in our lives and in this world.
