Prayer 007

Father I thank you for my life. I thank you for being the awesome provider and father you are. I thank you for loving me inspite of my faults. I ask that you forgive me for my sins. I ask that you open my eyes to all you’d have me to do and continue to lead me on the path you’d have me to go. I ask that you continue to wrap your loving arms around your children being the comforter,provider,deliver,protector and guider that you are. Help us to forfill the needs of others as you equip us too. Father I ask that you be with the children who feel abandoned, unloved and alone, those whose parents are unwilling or able to care for them. Put the perfect labors in their path and a desire for you in their hearts. Father I ask that you bring all my family members and friends who are not saved to you. You are and awesome and loving God who wants the best for your children. Help us to walk in obedience to your word and your ways. Let the fruit of your holy spirit rein in our lives day after day. Lord I ask that you be with the sick, hurting, and those in morning. You God know exactly what they need. You Lord are a comforter and know just how to comfort them. Thank you father for caring for us, thank you for being the lover and comforter of our soul. Father I ask that you be with the president, his cabinet members, and all those in authority. Let the will and desires they have for this country line up with yours. Lead them in the path you’d have them to go and protect them as they take the stands you want them to take. Let your will and desires rein in this world. Let our lives be one of pleasing and living for you.
In Jesus name I pray..Amen

Stay Focus

On any given day there are situations and things that happen that can be joy stealers. How often have you gotten upset about something and no matter how hard you tried you couldn’t get that thing off your mind? Whether it was a problem at work, home, or in traffic life is full of situation that can rob us of our joy. The bible states the devil roams around like a roaring lion seeking whom he can destroy. He good at his job we must be even better at ours. If were not alert and aware of his sneaky tricks and plans we’ll allow one negative event to capture us. That’s what he wants. He wants us to lose our focus.
If he gets his way he’ll work on making us doubt God. Slam the door the satan’s plan.
If this is an area you’re weak in repent and ask the Lord to strengthen you.
1Peter 5:8-9
8 Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour,
9 whom withstand stedfast in your faith, knowing that the same sufferings are accomplished in your brethren who are in the world.
Job 5:17
Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects;
Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.
Gal 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.

Seek Wisdom My Child

Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

How often have you given your children advice, or told them not to do something because you knew the outcome would not be the positive one they expected?
If you’re like me I’m sure the answer has to be many times. How many times have you said, ‘I’m telling you it’s not going to work.’ Or ‘Listen to me, I know what I’m talking about, I’ve been there.’ Yet, that precious, loving child who respects your wisdom more than anything else, does the exact opposite of what you’ve warned them against.

If we honestly think about when we were that child’s age (depending on the situation) we didn’t accept the wisdom our parents offered either. I believe parenting is the most important responsibility one could have and shouldn’t be taken lightly. In every generation the younger always seems to think the older doesn’t understand. Today children have even greater pressures than we did at there age.

Unfortunately, just as many of us have stumbled and found our way by the grace of God, we must give them the opportunity to grow and find theirs. We have to accept and believe that the wisdom we have implanted in them will set them on the right path.

Proverbs 4:7
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Ephesians 6:1-3 (King James Version)
1] Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2]Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3]That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
